Wednesday Night Worship: Starts September 1st at 5:30pm! Come early for Happy Half Hour to meet new and old friends.
Moving In BBQ: Wednesday, September 1st after 5:30pm worship Come to the first LCC event of the Fall 2010 semester! A BBQ will be held on the LCC terrace after worship! Biggest Banana Split on Campus: Wednesday, September 8th after 5:30pm worship Take part in eating the world famous 20 foot long banana split outside the LCC! High Coffee: Starts Tuesday, September 7th at 2pm Come for coffee, tasty treats, and conversation with the LCC staff every Tuesday at 2pm. Social Concerns Lunch: Starts Thursday, September 9th at noon A free spaghetti lunch and great discussion or guest speaker every Thursday. SOUP: Starts Monday, September 13th at noon Shared Observations, Utterances, and Perspectives - free homemade soup and lively discussion every Monday at noon. Choir Rehearsal: Starts Thursdayday, September 16th at 7pm Choir rehearsal occurs every Thursday at 8pm. Anyone who likes to sing or play an instrument is welcome! Blazin' BBQ: Wednesday, September 15th after 5:30 worship Stick around after worship for a free BBQ and a chance to meet old and new friends! Luther Memorial Welcome Banquet: Wednesday, September 22nd after 5:30 worship Stick around after worship for a free dinner hosted by Luther Memorial Church next door! Root Beer Floats: Time TBA Drop by the LCC for free root beer floats! SHOE: Starts Friday, September 18th at noon. Something Holy for the Overly Educated. Discussion group for Grad students with a light lunch provided. This event is heald the 3rd Friday of every month at noon. American Players Theater: Sunday, September 19th This inexpensive trip includes a full meal, transportation, and a live theater show outdoors! We will be seeing "As You Like It". Cost TBA. Free Sunday Supper: Starts Sunday, September 25th at 5pm Sign up ahead of time for this free home-cooked meal the 4th Sunday of every month! Gaudeamus: October 1st at 4:30pm A wine and cheese social for grad students, faculty and staff every first Friday of the month. Remember to bring a food or drink item to share! |
